- Other specified feeding or eating disorders (OSFED)
Located in seven beautiful homes in a gated community, KellerLife focuses on treating women age 18 and older, who struggle with eating disorders, body image issues, and co-occuring disorders. Ward and Carolyn Keller are the founders of KellerLife; Ward is well known as the founder of Remuda Ranch in Wickenburg, AZ, having successfully treated thousands of women with eating disorders. He has based the KellerLife treatment approach on the successful Remuda Model of care, which includes treating the biological, psychological, sociological and spiritual aspects of eating disorders. Carolyn Keller, who has a background in interior design, personally decorated every home on the KellerLife campus; her expertise is both seen and felt in the warm, home-like environment, offering a beautiful setting for recovery.
Pursue recovery with a team of experienced eating disorder professionals
If you or someone you love needs treatment for an eating disorder, experience matters. Our team includes some of the best eating disorder professionals in the business - collectively, we have more than 200 years of credentialed experience. Our treatment is evidence-based, making use of the best methods and modalities shown to get results. At the same time, our Christian values ground us in everything we do. Our Restorative Model for recovery from eating disorders focuses on restoring mind, body, faith and relationships. Each resident becomes a part of our recovery community, and will feel safe, valued, respected and cared for. The care we provide is individualized to each resident's needs and consists of a variety of techniques and modalities delivered by a multidisciplinary team of specialists, including primary care physicians, nurses, therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, dietitians and behavior coaches. Our focus on results means that we identify and treat not only the eating disorder behaviors, but also the co-occurring disorders that often accompany them. Comprehensive treatment is critical for a full recovery, and minimizes the chances of relapse.
